The Intercontinental of Century City

Saturday night we had tickets to see Eddie Izzard at the Nokia Theater. Getting there was an adventure. We won't get into that.
But after some uncertainty about where we would stay that Saturday evening we finally got set up at the Intercontinental in Century City. Turns out that the hotel is right in front of the Fox Studio lot. The rooms and the hotel were amazing, my room had a 180 degree view from the downtown to the Hollywood sign. Words, again, cannot do it justice.

This building was to the left of my room. I noticed it was called the Fox Plaza but it wasn't until we drove around to dinner that I found out about the Fox lot.

After we got home Mom sent me a link about the hotel. A quick Wikipedia check revealed that this building, the Fox Building, was the Nakatomi Building in Die Hard.
Finding that out was so cool.
The room was amazing. Yes I'm watching Noggin.

The brown sunrise!

The robe was very comfortable.
